An Open, Conceptual Elementary Statistics Textbook Based on Contextualized Case Studies

Community college statistics instructors no longer need the textbook publishing industry to create excellent textbooks for our students, we can collaborate to create open textbook libraries that contain context-specific materials that can be edited and remixed for students in specific metamajors. The presenter has created a textbook skeleton, sample case studies to flesh out one version of the textbook, and recommendations for the nature and content of your context-specific case-studies so that, once created, they will seamlessly integrate into the library for this textbook.
