Discord is a fairly intuitive communications application that will run on phones and computers. It is particularly popular in the gaming community, but is evolving into an application used by many.
The SCC Makerspace has been using Discord as a primary form of communication during the pandemic.
The SCC Library and Information Technology Program has also started using Discord as an optional form of communication in order to engage students and enable easier connection after graduation. It's a great way to interest students where they are. In this session, Pamela Posz will demonstrate how to Discord and demonstrate some of the uses of this application.
