Sacramento City College academic programs focus on providing quality teaching and learning that supports student success.
We are committed to maintaining high academic standards while engaging students in learning through a variety of classroom experiences. As an open-access, comprehensive community college, Sacramento City College serves a diverse student population. We provide a wide range of educational opportunities and support services leading to transfer, career advancement, English language proficiency, and personal enrichment. SCC offers associate degrees and certificates to prepare students for careers in the 21st century. In addition, students can enroll in one of our associate degrees for transfer or complete their general education and other requirements needed for the first two years of study toward the baccalaureate degree.
