Language Arts and Library Division

The Language Arts and Library Division helps students to improve their communication skills, particularly in the areas of writing, reading, and critical thinking. The Division includes the departments of English, English as a Second Language, Journalism, Library, and the Writing Center. The Division’s offerings cater to students at all levels and prepare students for academic work in other disciplines, for transfer to a four-year college, and for work in a variety of occupations.
