Penji Scheduling Software for Tutoring Centers, Labs, and Programs

This workshop will be about Penji, a scheduling software that some tutoring centers/lab/programs are using at SCC and CRC.

When students use the Penji app, they are not only accessing one service. They are accessing every center that uses Penji, which Penji calls "communities." We know that students are often unaware of services that are available to them. Students won't know what tutoring center/lab/program is the "right" one, or think that there is no tutoring for their class. Penji makes the student experience barrier-free, so all students can find the services they need as soon as possible.

Students are becoming more familiar with Penji as centers have adopted its use. Do you know if your students can use Penji to meet with a tutor for your class? Find out what Penji has to offer to support our community and our students, and how it's expanding to other centers. A demonstration will be given of the student experience–scheduling one-to-one, group and drop-in sessions, and workshops.

New this fall: we will show you how to enable the Penji app in Canvas!
