Affordable Educational Resources Committee (AERC)
A Non-Standing Committee, the Affordable Educational Resources Committee (AERC) works with Academic Senate, students, faculty, and classified staff in programs across campus to identify alternative strategies to reduce textbook and course material costs for students.
Curriculum Committee
A Non-Standing Committee and subcommittee of the Academic Senate, the Curriculum Committee promotes development of curriculum and courses, recommends changes in instructional programs, and ensures compliance with statewide educational policy.
Department Chairs Council
The Department Chairs Council meets twice monthly to give chairs and coordinators the opportunity to discuss the issues that involve them.
Distance Education Committee
The Distance Education Subcommittee of the Academic Senate coordinates college activities related to distance education.

A Non-Standing Committee and subcommittee of the Academic Senate, the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee (SLOAC) is actively engaged in supporting SLO assessment efforts across all areas of the college.
