Affordable Education Resources Committee (AERC)
A Non-Standing Committee, the Affordable Educational Resources Committee (AERC) works with Academic Senate, students, faculty, and classified staff in programs across campus to identify alternative strategies to reduce textbook and course material costs for students.
Caring Campus Long-Term Planning Committee (CCLTPC)
Our focus is to develop implementation, monitoring, and communication plans, to ensure the work we started in summer 2020 continues, to hold all constituencies accountable, and to present and share behavioral commitments and efforts with our college community.
College Council
A Non-Standing Committee, the College Council meets once a month to make recommendations to the Executive Council and President's Cabinet on matters of planning and participatory decision making.
Curriculum Committee
A Non-Standing Committee and subcommittee of the Academic Senate, the Curriculum Committee promotes development of curriculum and courses, recommends changes in instructional programs, and ensures compliance with statewide educational policy.
Department Chairs Council
The Department Chairs Council meets twice monthly to give chairs and coordinators the opportunity to discuss the issues that involve them.
Digital Inclusion Workgroup
Sacramento City College envisions cost-free and equitable access to digital technology, equipment, services, and support to all current and prospective SCC students to ensure student success in the digital age.
Food Service Advisory Group (FSAG)
A Non-Standing Committee, the Food Service Advisory Group meets at least once per semester to review food service performance and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
Learning Resources Advisory Committee
The Learning Resources Standing Advisory Committee reviews and makes recommendations for programs, services, and resources provided in the following areas: Academic Computing, Distance Education, Special Collections, and Production.
Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness (PRIE) Advisory Committee
The PRIE Office is responsible for all institutional research at SCC, which includes compiling and tracking student enrollment and outcomes data.
Professional Standards Committee
A Non-Standing Committee, the Professional Standards Committee reviews all faculty leave applications once per semester and submits its recommendations to the College President.
Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee (SLOAC)
A Non-Standing Committee and subcommittee of the Academic Senate, the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Committee (SLOAC) is actively engaged in supporting SLO assessment efforts across all areas of the college.
