Music Lab

The Sacramento City College Music Lab is a student resource center located in PAC 108.

The Music Lab features nine computer workstations equipped with all the software needed to complete coursework in MIDI and Recording Arts classes. Students may also practice piano on any of the four Korg digital keyboards in the Music Lab, or in one of our ten acoustic piano practice rooms next door.

Students in need of help with other music classes may come to the Music Lab staff for help with music theory/history, musicianship, and the like. For more intensive or subject-specific one-on-one work, they can also connect with one of our Music Department tutors. Check the Music Lab bulletin board regularly for information about tutoring, as well as upcoming concerts and events, transfer opportunities, and study-abroad programs.
