Operational Memorandums (OMs) provide guidelines for the college in several areas, including Institutional, Administration, Instruction, President's Office, and Student Services.

OMs:

  • are documents that apply to SCC and outline procedures specific to the institution or college area
  • may supplement District policy, set forth guidelines specific to the college, or both simultaneously
  • will have a numbering system that is maintained by the President's Assistant

The OM Process

  1. OMs are submitted by the President's Cabinet to:
    • the President of Sacramento City College (SCC)
    • the Executive Council
  2. OMs are then reviewed by:
    • the President
    • the Executive Council
    • any other task forces or groups deemed appropriate by the President and Executive Council
  3. OMs are then approved by the President of SCC.
