Culturally relevant pedagogy (CRP) is highly effective in improving Black and Brown students' performance, especially in STEM courses. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to use a practical, culturally responsive framework to redesign aspects of your course to enhance student engagement and success. This framework shows you how to teach course concepts by centering on social issues and students' ethnic-racial identity.

I am excited to show you this framework in action through the lens of chemistry! Yes, I said chemistry 🙂.

This work will continue through the semester. so please come for inspiration to incorporate these essential elements into your courses.
