NAMI Ending the Silence is an engaging presentation that helps audience members learn about the warnings signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you, a student, or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. Audience members can ask questions and gain understanding of an often-misunderstood topic. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Sacramento is a grassroots organization that provides a community of support, education, resources, and outreach activities to families, friends, and persons with mental illness so as to improve their general welfare, and to reduce the stigma of mental illness.

Organizer

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an alliance of more than 600 local Affiliates and 48 State Organizations who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.
