We all know that a college education opens the doors to future success, but for many of our students, the costs are insurmountable. The Affordable Educational Resources Committee invites you to join us in an exploration of how you can utilize high-quality, open-source (free) materials in your courses, no matter your discipline.
In this session, we will explore how to empower our students in innovative ways with a discussion about resources available to all of us such as Open Stax, Libre Texts, U.S. government-published materials and data, Copyright clearance, free sites like Khan Academy, TED, YouTube, Museum websites, My Open Math, and Geogebra. We will also share information about the ZTC logo and how Follette supports open-source materials through its web interface.
This session is for you if you have never used a free resource and if you already use OER materials, but you want to take it to the next level!
