The HSI-Early College Program (HSI-ECP) is a federally funded grant project through the U.S. Department of Education that focuses on early college initiatives that introduce our Latinx and low-income high school students to college via participation in Dual Enrollment.
Come and learn about SCC's latest dual enrollment efforts, high school district partnerships, and how you can get involved!
Dual Enrollment offers college access and opportunity to students who may have never considered themselves college-going. The Hispanic Serving Institution-Early College Program focuses on leveraging these opportunities specifically for our Latinx and Disproportionately Impacted students and communities. HSI-ECP offers bilingual wrap-around student support services and high-touch practices to ensure students' success from start to finish.
Participants will learn the latest on dual enrollment efforts across SCC and the different terminology surrounding early college initiatives. Outcomes will be measured through a post flew week survey.
